Hi there, I am moving right along in my December album and have my layout for November 28 to share with you today, plus photos for the 27th! First have a look at my process video:
So it just made a lot of sense to blog these two days together since they are the same layout in the album and also because they tell the story of two days kind of together.
Here is November 27 by itself. For this day I used a photo we took during one of our walks the day before Alan left.
I created this great list to remind me of all my favorite things we like to do in the month of December, that I cannot wait to do when Alan gets back. I am so thankful that this project gives me the space to do that.
I love this photo of us. I won't lie, that finding time for us is hard. Finishing a sentence is hard some days. And sometimes, we walk around the block so we can have a conversation and make decisions together. And then these moments happen.
For November 28 I decided to include some of the photos Alan has been sending me from Germany. I found this map of Germany online and of course had to include it as well. I created tabs using We R Memory Keepers clear tab stickers, and punched them to add them to the binder.
When you turn the insert you find my journaling and the layout for the 28th.
I love how the insert turned out. It provided a great place to journal, and it also tells the story about where Alan is. A little random fact about me: I grew up in this country. My parents were missionaries here when I was 6-10 and it is a place that is near and dear to me. Even though I am not there with him, I am still pretty excited to be able to include some of these things in our album!
I had the number 28 from the Ali Edwards Main Kit that I have now layered over top of a vellum from Crate Paper's Wonder collection. I also added one of the transparent pieces from Pinkfresh Studio's Oh Joy collection.
Here is one more look at the layout in the album:
Thanks so much for following along!
