Ok I am going to start with a slight disclaimer: my plan was to create planner layouts that are simple, but I am not so sure this week's layout is quite so simple! But I love it and it is bright and fun and inspiring. Take a look here:
So I had already misted the pages with Heidi Swapp's spray mist and a star stencil from Crafter's Workshop. I went through my washi tapes and found my Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy washi, and that led me to pull out that entire collection to embellish with.
I think when Elizabeth Kartchner designed this line, she must have been thinking about planners too, because there are actually a couple of cute pieces in the collection that are great for planners. I started with the washi tape that says Fine & Dandy. Then I added a gold 5 so I can keep up with the week we are in.
At the top of the page I added a round sentiment from the collection and a green polka dot washi strip.
For each of the days I laid down the washi tape and used a set of numbers that came from Ali Edwards' Heart Story kit this month. I also added heart and star stickers next to each of the numbers. They go perfect right there.
I also used glitter letters to note the days of the week. Thin washi separates each day.
For the dashboard I used the list portion of the washi tape and I clipped a floral embellishment to the side. (Not so) Simple but done and lovely. Ready for the busy week ahead.
I hope you have a great week this week. Some fun stuff planned for this week to share with you! Now go, do and create!
See you soon!
